omgomgomg!
jan just told me the name of the apartment we are staying at in gold coast
Q1
i googled for it and omg! i so totally looking forward to it!
it's like located in surfers' paradise!
and believe me, it's really a paradise
esp for water babies like us
since young we've been into swimming





we're staying on the 73rd storey. gosh! imagine the view we're gonna get!
WALAOEHHHHHH I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!
walking distance to the beach, i'm sure we'll like go EVERYDAY!
maybe even more than once a day
the swimming, the waves crashing, even the sand in the swimming costume will be worth it
omgomgomg, i love the beach, not singapore's one though, the waves here are nonexistant
they can't even push you to shore. lol

well, the apartment for melbourne's been booked too
jan says it's not bad either
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
this is really going to be the trip of the year!!!

i just quarreled with mum
over my retarded bro
fucking piece of furniture
i carried the groceries from the car all the way up
all he had to do was help carry 2 bags from 2 steps away from the hse into the hse, and he scolded me bitch
fuck man... and mum can just shake her head and frown.
and to think that this morning i kena from her
her usual "so sad, so sad, no one help me wash the dishes"
all the fucking dishes in the sink were ken's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fuck man. i'm always the one who kena all this shit
and when i speak up, ask why she nvr tells ken all these
she will go "aiya... you know he's always like that..." and then he gets away with it all

and my toe got hurt by z yest
he came over with wen, he played with my hand weights
then he suddenly threw them on the floor!
one of them landed on my big toe
it was so painful i cried
well it's damn bruised now, hurts when i walk
i end up limping.
it was a 1kg weight, thrown onto my toe
the worse injury that's happened to my toe

nothing spectular...

too far, and really.. not worth the time taken to travel there

step up was great!
probably the best dance show i've watched
better than honey, though i prefer jessica alba
and man can they dance!!!

the gal who was sitting in front of me pissed me off
my foot was on the BACK of the arm rest, she wanted to take smthing, brushed against my foot, then glared at me. bitch man!
ok fine, i wasn't right to put my foot there, but walao eh, is it my fault that of all places to brush, you had to brush against the tip of my toe?!?
she then proceeded to push the arm rest up. argh! i wanted to kick her chair so badly man!
i did the next best thing, i stuffed my toes inbetween the lifted arm rest and her chair and gave a rather hard kick, so that she'd know that my leg was still there
yeah yeah childish i know, but well, TOO BAD!

went for the meetup in town
damn suay la. while standing against the pillar, waiting for the gals to arrive, minding my own business, i kena approached by those people.
the typical ones who lurk ard orchard mrt, waiting to approach people to get their number for some advertising company.
we find you very suitable blah blah blah
so i kindly rejected this gal, but noooo she was so persistant. to get her off my back, i left my name and number with her.
as if that wasn't enough
this other gal saw that i 'entertained' the 1st gal, came up to me and asked me to do a survey.
walao ehhh, i hate to do such things!

next time i better make the more ulu side of orchard mrt a meeting point if i ever decide to do a meetup in orchard again
come on man! leave me alone!

on a lighter (heavier) note
i'm eating and slping and eating and sitting and eating and nuaing
i'm putting back all the weight
my bottoms are getting a lil snug ard the waist and thigh area
shucks man... i better make use of this holiday and start jogging again

jamie told me that the apartments that we are gonna stay in aust is damn nice!!
one's on the 73rd storey!! that's like damn freaking high!
one of the tallest buildings in the WORLD!
then another apartment has a pool table inside
i don't play pool, so well, not very appealing, but either way, i think it's gonna be damn fun!!!
uncle said that lunch we'll eat out, he'll cook for dinner
i'm so looking forward to this trip!
we'll always love aust, no matter how many times we go!
well, this is all the more why i need to exercise
imagine how much i'll be eating there?!
i'm gonna come back looking like a whale...

i just got up from my nap
actually i have work to do, but i'm procrastinating
sigh.. what's new, i'm always like that

update on yest

8 plus, wen came over to pick me up
z and a were so happy to see me!
i felt damn loved la
hahahah
we shared a chicken wing in the car
they shared a hashbrown, i had 1 for myself
we played, we watched tv, we napped, we went to the supermarket together
it was fun!
i'm going over again tmr to spend more time with them

i got 1 vid of z playing in the rain, wearing his raincoat and boots
splashing away in the puddles
shall upload it into youtube soon
add on to the collection of vids i have of them there!

met up with jean in the evening at orchard
we had so much catching up to do
it made me miss hanging out with her
smthing that we used to do so often a few years back
we had dinner in swensens, they discontinued my prawn dippers! damn sad la!
then we headed over to heeren, then over to cine, then to taka
someone made a comment that made me happy
LOL

yest morning i was up at 5 plus, by 7 i was kinda bored
i went out to the living room and started channel surfing
i ended up watching this prog called "tv with teeth" on animal planet
it was very very interesting!
there was this guy who out in some forest, and due to the dampness of his clothes, attracted some kinda fly. it laid eggs in his clothes. so fine, lay eggs only what! hahaha here comes the gross and freaky part!
the larve of the fly needs blood and flesh to live. smthing like that. so this guy puts on his clothes, the eggs hatch, and those little disgusting things start burrowing into his flesh and started growing there. walao ehhh. disgusting! all he started to feel was an itch, and redness all over. that itch soon became unbearable, and the red spots soon became pimple like stuff. he was fortunate that this man came to him, rubbed some ointment all over his sore like pimples. the eeky things living inside his body needed an airhole to breathe, and that ointment covered that hole and caused them to die. that man then started to squeeze that sore, and out popped not 1, not 2 but 3 maggots!
and that was from only 1 sore!!!! he said he had like 90 all over his body. ughhh, it was super gross!
there were other gross stories, about people being bitten by flies, and then end up having millions of parasites living in their body, feasting on their blood, causing their body systems to shut down. amazing what a puny lil thing can do to a person.

was telling a friend how i was getting old
not like before where i could stay up till 2, 3 plus
now i auto feel slpy ard 12, i also fall aslp after reading only a few pages of my book!
damn lousy, compared to last time when i could very well finish a book in a night
...
i still wake up damn early though

this morning i was up at 5.45
stoned, blogged surfed, read and updated in forums, went down to get lunch for mum to bring to work, did nonsense la, all cept do my work
hahaha
fiddled ard with my webcam again, only dumb thing is that i can't take pics with it. but doing a print screen and saving the pic does pretty much the same thing as taking a pic.
took one and made a comparision with a pic taken with the old webcam

see the diff! hahahaha
ya la i know la, i look a mess
but check out the cupboard behind me

ok, this has been a very wordy entry.
i'm gonna do my work for a while, head down to town to pass some people their nail polishes, then down to bishan to get movie tickets

ok finally got down to taking some pics
of my room again
actually the idea was
1. to test out my phone
2. to show the diff of my table

somehow 2. didn't work out, coz in the previous pic of my table, i covered the messiest area with my chair! hahaha.

first day of my school holidays
had to go to work for half a day
one more day tmr
then i'm totally FREE FREE FREE!!!!!!!
until the last 3 days of the sch hols that is
but the sad thing is, i'm not gonna shop at all till next year
not counting in australia though, coz that's different

in the past 2 weeks, i've spent waaaaay too much
- notebook ($1727)
- nokia 7390 ($698)
(ok fine, godsis gonna give $100, i shared half half with mum)
- webcam ($20)

see... more than $2k!

but anyhow, i'm loving those 3 things so much!
the free space i have now and the mobility of my notebook
the oh so DAMN DAMN pretty phone, i like the fact that it's a clamshell phone too
and the sharpness of my webcam. it's like 354828349 times clearer than my logitech one, plus it has a built in mic! no more using my old headphone/mic from my cs days. it's got those leds too, so i can webcam in the dark! z and a can still see their auntie kim even wihtout me shining the stupid table lamp IN MY FACE!

and all these i got at the beginning of my holidays!
how wonderful!
i guess i can pass on shopping for at least 2 mths, considering all that i've got now.
only exception: to visit vivo city with jan once her exams are over. but i shall have self control and not buy anything.

it's more for me to read anyway

i met up with cher for a while yest
it's been quite a while since we last hung out together
her PTC ended at 5
hahhaah! so late! mine ended at 2.45!
bought a drink and went to some place nearby to slack for a while

she was updating me alot about wrk ever since i left
that 'witch' became even worse!
i thought she was already bad enough when i was there
never expected her to get worse!
more than 10 times worse
she's totally not professional, not at all!
i'm damn disgusted by her behaviour...
even cher's kids could see how she was like
and they even asked cher how come she's like that
kids! imagine kids asking
tsk tsk tsk... HORRIBLE!

met her for abt an hr, then it was home to shower and clear my room
i officially dismantled my desktop!
byebye 24535634 wires all over the place
bye huge, fat and bulky monitor!
bye keyboard
i am using my mouse though
hahaha
i prob need to get a new webcam, want a clip on one, coz i have no where to place my present one.
it used to sit on the top of my monitor

i made an order for my laptop already
ok fine, i was corrected by a friend that the word 'laptop' doesn't exist
it's a notebook
but to me a notebook is a book with paper for you to scribble stuff in
i'd very much rather call it a laptop

after we had orientation for the Ns yest, i headed down to FEP
i had the sudden urge to DIY some stuff
came home $31 poorer, but loaded with enough things to make:
2 hp straps which doubles up as a necklace or bag charm
a nice long necklace

this DIY thing is fun!
wonder how long my interest in it will last
HAHAHA

at night i had to go for my cousin's wedding dinner
mum was very unhappy coz she was so freaking rude!
yes the cousin
she didn't bother to greet them (my uncles and aunties) when they walked thru the door
and they went there for the tea ceremony
the least she could do was to smile and acknowledge
but i guess that's too difficult for her eh
i was kinda appaled by her behaviour as well
she's the "see once a year (during CNY)" kinda cousin
no harm done even if we don't meet (better still since i don't think we've even spoken more than 10 sentences in 23 years)
how can someone be so rude??
i just don't get it
anyway the dinner wasn't good
food bland, MC's eng sucked, chinese MC has a SQUEAKY voice (i was sitting directly under the speaker!!!! imagine the torture i was put through!!!!)
the list went on... and i shall stop being a bitch and stop commenting abt it

1 more week, just 1 more week before my holidays are here!
2 days of teaching
wed's year end party followed by teachers' lunch
thurs and fri's PTC
oh... next mon and tues (first 2 days of the holidays) i'll have to be back at work
curriculum planning i guess

1 mth to go before australia!
2 wonderful weeks there!

shall do a pic post when i'm less lazy
yes i know i keep saying that
but i really am lazy
maybe will be more motivated when i get my laptop (ok fine, notebook)
