Seems like recent posts have been work related. That shows how affected i am. Yesterday was a TOTALLY TIRING day! After work we had a meeting to discuss our coming excursion for national day, then i had to go down to Tekka Market to get our costumes. By the time i reached home, it was almost 6pm... I was too tired to go for cardiomix. Stayed home and watched bleach instead. I'm becoming so slobbish...

Today i spent the whole time letting my kids try on their costumes. Both am and pm session. Then the person came to deliver the other part of our costumes, i was basically running in and out and up and down. Goodness know how many times i climbed the stairs today. I hate being on the 2nd floor! My kids do look really good though! Can't wait for oct to be over.

Did some retail therapy today. I need it! Never did i expect i'd buy a pair of crocs.

But these are pretty and comfortable! Bought the suede covered ones coz they just look better.


Hair serum coz mine's finishing, and 1 bottle for jan too.

That's the makeup remover which is as good as Fancl's MCO, and a pump dispenser for my nail polish remover from SASA. While i was buying the items from SASA, i saw the SA checking out my eyeshadow. LOL. And i overheard this girl on the bus exclaim to her friend, WOW did you see her eyeshadow???
Dunno if they were positive thoughts/comments, but this was how i looked today

Wanted to do an orange and blue look, but somehow it turned out red, so i added some purple.

OMG today was a killer day! My morning class spent the whole session in the sanctuary rehearsing. Then i didn't have a break coz it was followed by the afternoon session. We were there for so long that my poor kids started to tell me they were hungry. HAHAHA i was damn hungry too! Sang the last song then we quickly went up to eat. I think mondays and fridays are the busiest days of the week.

Went costume hunting at amk hub today. Happy that we managed to find what we wanted there. Going to collect the other batch of costumes tmr. Sigh... another long day...

My principal's kid was damn funny. I was sitting down waiting to speak to her this morning and he was just beside me. He was staring at me then all of a sudden he used his finger and poked my eyelid. LOL! I think he was damn amused by my eye colour

I used colours R2,7 and R6,3

Tennis today was good! Finally the weather was good enough for us to play.

I met the cousins for dinner and movie yest. 4 of us in all! Mum, jan, james and i. We had dinner at sakae sushi, ordered a lot of food! the bill came up to almost $120! Loved the salmon sashimi!

Caught the dark knight after that. Kinda knew that guy was gonna end up as Two-Face, and true enough when i asked james, she told me i was right. I'm not a Batman fan, it's too dark for my liking, hardly any daylight, but i was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I enjoyed it a lot! The girl was ugly though!

Before the movie, i went into cotton on body and bought 2 of their $1 bags. They came in handy coz mum and i went to ntuc. I grabbed quite a number of chcos. Comfort food.

Today i went for kickboxing, it was a really good workout! Spent the day at home, love it when i can do that! Went to sheng siong with mum in the noon.
More comfort food! Gonna bring some to work

The pink bag was the one i bought from cotton on yest.



I might get these tops!






Still thinking about it as i do not really like to buy clothes like that which i can't try first. Hate having to sell them off..!

Felt super down coz of work so i met up with jane yest for dinner and shopping in town. Work has been getting too overwhelming for me. This year's concert is no joke. I feel that there isn't enough of me to go round! As much as i can multi-task, i still don't have enough time on my hands. The heads are expecting a lot but they don't know how it's like being the teacher. We are the ones who have to manage our time, we are the ones who have to deal with the kids, we are the one who have to do a lot of things. I have my life! Yes i know they are doing a lot too and that i'll never understand them. I'm sorry that i think this way, but no matter what, i'm still doing my job. Still doing what they ask us to do. I just need to rant...

Thank goodness i have my makeup to make me happy. Something to perk me up. My looks for the past 3 days







Saw this on youtube and thought it was a good idea, so i named the eyeshadows in my palette too! Now it'll be easier if and when i do want to describe which colours i used.


I bought more bb creams to try out. 1 tube of Missha Watery and 2 tubes of Skin79 dermaRX beblesh balm. I have yet to do a proper review of all my bb creams. I will do one soon, SOON...

Saw this weird fruit at work today. It was used for some flower arrangement.

It's tiny!

Cut it up and this was how it looked like. Looks like a kiwi eh

Used the colours from my new palette today!

Did an orange, red, brown look.

Then i came home, had too much time to spare, i ended up doing this


I love this look! Not sure if i'll dare walk out of the house sporting that eye makeup, but it's really damn pretty! All the colours of the rainbow! I didn't use mascara coz i was lazy.

Ok! I need to RAVE about the 88 eyeshadow palette! Just collected it this evening, came home and i started playing with the different colours! Haven't finished trying out all 88 colours, i only got this far coz i couldn't wait to try them on my eyes!

First up, the wonderful palette





Next, on the back of my hand, all swatched over Sephora base

(looks like paint)
I only swatched 24 out of the 88 colours!

Finally, on my lids! Used Silkygirl's funky eyelights and Bourjois eyeliners as base (no liner, no mascara coz i was lazy to do full eye makeup)




Only needed 5 out of the 88 colours

Now i know why there are so many raves about this palette! I think it's the same one that's retailing on coastalscents.com. The eyeshadows are a mixture of shimmery and matte finishes. Personally i prefer a shimmery finish, but as you can see from my eyelooks above, i chose the matte finish for the yellow green blue look. Didn't turn out too bad eh, i actually like it!
