i survived the day on 2 and a half hrs of slp!

yes went to work, was up at 7, prepared and reached wrk at 8
had so many things to do
now that i'm on the 2nd floor, it sucks man!
office is downstairs, and in 1 day, i can walk up and down the stairs dunno how many times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sure to lose weight... not that that's a bad thing

was all alone doing my stuff, my partner was not ard
day was saved by sam and wilfred, who happened to be in church, and helped me with some stuff
really thankful!

left sch, went home took an hr plus nap, then got ready to meet zena and alvina for dinner
had dinner at CQ, then headed to mos after
retro music at main arena, but i ended up at smoove most of the time
damn sad la! coz both of them were not really retro fans...
kena asked to dance by some indian...
i gave him a damn "HUH!!??" reaction when he asked me
LOL, zena said he was damn paiseh
wahahhaha
then kena from 2 angmos...
saw a few slimies... eewww...
then got to know 1 of al's friend and his 2 other friends

last night ended well
was nice catching up with al, after 4 yrs
mos was fun too depsite all the slimies

so why 2 and a half hrs of slp?
coz i got back from mos a little after 4
slpt at 4.30
got up at 7
you do the math...

just got back from watching eragon
after the show, i exclaimed to jan and jamie that i wanted a dragon!
I WANT A DRAGON!
i liked the show so much!
they can't stand the fact that the dragon's a girl
hahaha

out with zena tmr, she's doing the real shopping, i'll be window shopping
still on my ban
hopefully i don't break it

up early again this morning!
come next wed, and gone will be this nua life of mine...
back to slping at 10 and waking at 5.50

went out for dinner at sakae with zena yest
been half a yr since i last met her!
but stupid woman, only in sg till 1st!
after sakae, we went to alleybar for a drink
i had my lychee frozen margarita

mos on wed with zena and charmaine, meeting up with alvina first
mentioned to stefan that i would be at mos and he said he wanted to go
guess i might bee seeing him there?
haha

anyway i'm peeling super badly!
a price to pay to be this colour now
if only i get tanned without peeling!
hahaha
i am disfigured now!
was asked to club on christmas eve but i felt to ugly to go out of the hse
hopefully the peeling stops soon, it's really making me feel ugh!!!

day 11 (22nd dec)

woke up and watched POT, had a half boiled egg for breakfast
we were going to have surfing lessons today!
weather wasn't that hot, which was good coz i'm black as hell already!
hahahaha

my knee was hurting, but i still went
how often do you get to learn how to surf man!
well, all i can say abt surfing is that, it's tough man!
i had a bruise near my hip from carrying the board, i fell so many times! i nearly got knocked by a guy, it's very tiring, it's not easy man!!




after surfing, we went for lunch
had horfun, sweet and sour port, fried noodles and fried egg

after that, went back to shower, then we went to pacific fair again!
this time i bought 3 tops, a black patent sling bag, and a gold necklace
2 more of my jayjays sleeveless tees!

went back for dinner
pak pak cooked minced pork egg, fried lettuce, chicken, and cold prawns. then walk again after dinner

we had to pack coz we had to move to a 2 room apartment the next day
it's almost time to go back to sg...
so sad


day 12 (23rd dec)

moved our stuff to the 2 room apartment then we went to the beach
i think the beach and waves could sense it was our last day here (CRAP)
hahahahha
the waves were exceptionally high and strong today!!!
really the best waves ever!!!!!!!!!!!
awww man! i love australia! great food, great weather, great shopping, great waves!
there were many pple at the beach today
there were pple boarding too, i was so afraid that i'd get hit by one of them!
but we really enjoyed ourselves!
no more of this anymore... damn sad

went back to shower, then left for australia fair
we had lunch there, then walked ard a bit
i bought another pair of surf short and a large hat for mum
then we headed back to harbour town
there i did a lot of last min shopping!
2 tees, a bag, stuff la!
lol
so sad....

went back, rested a while then went to a chinese restaurant for dinner
roast duck, fried calamari, sweet and sour pork, kai lan, claypot tofu
last walk by the beach, last everything!

we said we'd come back again 2 years later
hopefully it's true!

i'm damn tanned now!
woo hoo! finally bye bye to pale sickly me

gonna meet zena, finally done updating abt the trip
shall update abt my buys tmr

day 9 (20th dec)

had doughnuts for breakfast.
we were supposed to go for surfing lessons today, but the instructor's car broke down, so we gave it a pass
went to tan on the beach in our new bikinis!
then swam in the sea
sian man.. why can't sg have waves like australia!!!
anyway, one wave hit me, pushed me onto the sand, dragged me to shore.
i ended up grazing my knee in the process
it hurt like mad, but i stayed in the water
the waves were so strong!
everytime after a swim, my nose is all runny, eyes watery coz i don't wear my goggles, i have swollowed lots of sea water, water up my nose
but all worth it! it's all part of the fun!

went back, jamie and i watched POT while the rest napped
then we went to harbour town for some shopping

i bought a pair of surf shorts, a wallet and coin purse
that was all!
lol

supermarket for last min bbq sstuff, chocs for the guys, then back home again

oh!
lunch we had sweet and sour pork, fried wanton, spring roll, fried rice, beef, and veg with prawns. pak apk and ji mm bought back for us while we were at the beach!
ate in the apartment

dinner was jap curry with hard boiled eggs! cabbage, luncheon meat

after dinner, we walked by the beach


day 10 (21st dec)

went to the marina!
we are going on a boat trip! gonna bbq on board!
brought all our stuff

after the whole boat trip, we were damn tired
then smthing unfortunate happened
at the toilet, ji mm pushed the door too hard, she ended up cutting her finger in the process
it was bleeding and we rushed to a doc
she needed 2 stitches for it. omg it was like so painful just looking at it!
but good thing was, it wasn't that bad a cut, but 2 stitches!!!
made us all careful when we opened doors!

had chicken porridge for dinner
then we went shopping, ji mm was feeling better already

went to pacific fair, shops closed at midnight
i bought an army green bikini coz the one i had is pink
want a darker one
that was all i bought!

18th dec (day 7?)

decided to go to fruit orchards today
took a long drive up to some town, but in the end, we ended up having pies there and then going back down


had my sausage roll again!
they really have damn nice pies!

went to tropical fruit world, it was like some huge fruit farm
saw lots of weird fruits there too




we got to listen to a fruit introduction talk, and taste some weird fruits after
then took a tram ride, a kiddy train ride, a boat ride, then the tram back to the start again
saw some animals, we could feed them too, but i didn't want to. heh



after the whole tour, we went for lunch at this shopping centre
it was so familiar! i remembered going in there 7 yrs ago, when i was in gold coast the last time
i bought 2 sleeveless tees to wear to dreamland tmr, haha, it's too hot and i don't want to get t-shirt tan lines!

we had subway for lunch, then headed back after shopping

wanted to swim in the beach, but it was rather cloudy and windy, we ended up sitting there, not daring to go into the water
freezing!!

dinner was curry chicken, cabbage soup, fried egg, cold prawns!
after dinner, we went to surfers' paradise for a walk. i had baskin robins icecream for dessert.
surfers' paradise is like the orchard road of sg
it's the only area that's full of life after 6pm!!


day 8 (19th dec)

went to dreamworld today!
wore my bikini inside with my tank top outside
it's a hot day! sky was so blue with no clouds at all!
wooooo

stopped at the marina along the way coz we were gonna rent a boat to go bbqing on thurs
then straight to dreamworld!
the first ride jan jerz and jamie took was the giant drop. i dare not go on that ride!
after that we went for the log ride, all of us got very wet!!
i managed to cover myself up, so i was not as wet as the rest
lol
then we went for the tower of terror, it was so fast!!!
i liked it!
jan said it was more scary than the giant drop, if i could take it i could do the giant drop. but i still dare not la. hahaha
had lunch which consisted of fried chicken drumsticks and fries, plus a chicken burger to share
then we went to watch a tiger show, a crocodile show, then the rollercoaster after
then some ride where our legs were dangling, then bumper cars after


saw spongebob hats in the shop!

after dreamworld, we went shopping for a while
bought stuff for the bbq, then went back
beach for a while, swam this time rd, waves shiok as usual

dinner was prawns, minced pork, sunny side up egg, veg.
see why i got fat?

day 6 (17th dec)

we got ready to go to the airport
mum and ken were going back to sg
i would be with the rest, going on to gold coast!

had breakfast at macs, ate the sausage egg macmuffin and a hash brown
it was an hr plus flight to gold coast. i was missing mum already!
anyway weather at gold coast was PERFECT!
no need to wear jeans, no need for my jacket, i can wear shorts!

here, we were greeted with bad news
remember i said we were supposed to stay at Q1
the stupid guy actually gave our apartment to someone else!
WALAO EH!!!
then he wanted to throw us into a 2 bedroom apartment
zzz...
well we were very pissed! pak pak did not want to take that room
in the end, we went apartment hunting

we were very fortunate to find a 3 bedroom apartment in burleigh heads
facing the sea (that Q1 2 bedroom one didn't!)


just cross the road and we're at the beach!
plus cosy too
thank god man

settled down, then went to kfc for lunch
grocery shopping again at the supermarket, then we went to the beach to swim
water was very cold!
but we just tahan and went in! how could we not!!! it's all about the beach there man!!
the waves were very very strong! just the way we like it. even though our swimming costumes were filled with sand!
stayed a while then went to our indoor pool and jacuzzi before heading up for dinner

dinner was long bak with braised egg, tau ghey, fried sausages and strawberry cheesecake icecream

day 4 (15th dec)
started off with half an hour at the gym with jan
it was shopping today!

went to another DFO
this time i bought 2 tops
1 black long sleeved top and a striped top

we were walking ard a lot looking for this vietnamese restaurant pak pak saw yest
but couldn't find it
i was so hungry i bought a sushi roll to try
here in sg, they come cut and in a box, there it's the whole roll, you bite
finally found the restaurant, had beef noodle soup
then walked ard somemore

then along the way, we passed a pie shop, i tried a chilli bacon cheese sausage roll
IT WAS SO NICE!! i've not tasted smthing so nice before!
omg, i'm salivating now...

went back to the apartment, i took pics of everyone doing their own stuff

went to the supermarket (we can really go there everyday!)
bought lots of chocs for mum to bring back for me first

went home, showered, watched friends and prince of tennis!
yes, we brought the dvds there!

dinner was egg with minced pork, fried lettuce, pork with onion and ginger, chicken, broccoli and prawns
had some white wine too


day 5 (16th dec)

shopping at chadstone shopping centre!
it's the biggest shopping centre in melb!
i bought earrings for the gals
for myself, i bought a pair of black skinny pants, 2 tops, a bangle from diva
had lunch at the food court, i had a slice of pizza, i love the pizza here!
pak pak bought oysters, the biggest and juiciest ones i've ever seen! and so fresh too!
then icecream after
then bought more earrings from sportsgirl, and some diamante initial charms for mum and myself

headed home for a while, then went to st kilda beach for a walk
it was VERY cold! wind was so strong!





then we went for dinner at chinatown, roast duck, soya sauce chicken, fried egg, stir fried beef, and roast port
